Saturday, February 11th, 1:00pm-5:00pm - Retreat for Youth involved with Lifespan Faith Development

Saturday, February 11th, 6:00pm-8:00pm - Valentine's Day Family Fun Night

Saturday, February 11th, 8:00pm-10:00pm - Youth-Led Open-Mic Coffee House.  The youth group invites the congregation to perform.  Would you like to share a song, piece, poetry, or comedy routine?  Please email Ali at aliplutnicki@gmail.com if you would like to perform.  

Friday, February 24th, 6:30pm-10:00pm - Youth Group Dinner and a Movie Night.  We will be watching "Minority Report" and having a discussion afterwards.  Is life already planned out for us or do we have free will to change the future?  You should bring about $10 to order food and we will enjoy dinner, a movie, and discussion led by Andy afterwards.  Please bring friends.  

Sunday, March 11th, 7:00pm - Youth-Led Worship: "Wisdom of Dr. Seuss" open to the entire congregation.

Sunday, February 12th, 10:30am-11:45am - Youth Group Meeting: "CUC's Big Idea" with Amy and Kathleen.  We will have a visit from Rab Bell to inform us about CUC's Big Idea social service/justice project and brainstorm how we can be involved.  

Sunday, February 26th, 10:30am-11:45am - Youth Group Meeting: "Immigration and the UU 2012 General Assembly" Led by Ian with Amy and Martin.  

 Planning Meetings

Thursday, February 16th, 7:00pm-8:30pm - Youth Group Planning Meeting.  We will focus mainly on planning the upcoming Lock-In.  


      

 Youth Group, grades 9 - 12 Minimize

In Youth Group, teenagers bring their faith into action through worship, community building activities, social action projects, learning and leadership experiences.  Youth work with adult advisors to plan and lead events and meetings.  Group activities come in all shapes and sizes -- weekend conferences, social outings, covenant circles, service projects, worship services, and fundraisers.  See our website for a current schedule of upcoming visits. The group meets Sundays from 10:30 to 11:45, plus other events.  Please come and join us any Sunday. For more information, look us up on Facebook. We hope you'll join us soon.


    

 Our Whole Lives, open to 7th - 9th grades Minimize

This comprehensive sexuality education curriculum equips teens with accurate, age-appropriate information to help them make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, OWL not only provides facts about anatomy and human development, but also helps participants clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality. 

Required for participation: Regular attendance & guardian participation in two orientation sessions.
