Congregational Leadership (2011/2012)
In accordance with our constitution, the duly elected board of trustees is ultimately responsible for managing all the business of the Congregation. To enhance organizational effectiveness, the board delegates the day-to-day operation of the congregation's business to the minister, the staff, and a wide range of operating committees. This arrangement allows the board to function as a visionary body. The board develops and articulates the long-term ends or goals of the Congregation, and works closely with the minister, staff, and committees to monitor progress toward achieving these goals. The congregation encourages everyone to take an active part in running its affairs and makes an effort to sponsor any activity in which there is an interest and for which leadership can be found.
